The University of St. La Salle (USLS) renewed its partnership for a five-year joint operation of the Language Learning Program (LLP) with the Language Skills Learning Center–Bacolod, Inc. (LSLC) on September 5 at the Lopue Conference Room.
Present during the signing were University President Br. Joaquin Severino S. Martinez FSC, DMin, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Annabelle C. Balor, and LSLC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Oh Jae Yong, along with University administrators.
The renewed MOA will take effect in January 2026 for a five-year term, with provisions for review and renewal to further expand international education opportunities at USLS and includes intercultural activities such as buddy programs, community outreaches, and classroom sit-ins at both the Basic Education and Higher Education Units.
Furthermore, the MOA allows foreign students to enroll in their respective college department and take selected courses with credit recognition in their home universities for one semester.
The Language Learning Program (LLP) of the University ensures a holistic, authentic, and globally competitive language learning experience for students from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Since 2022, the partnership has supported the enrollment of 988 foreign students from different Southeast and East Asian countries through the University’s Language Learning Program (LLP), participating in group and individual English as a Second Language classes.
