The Institute for Culinary Arts De La Salle—Bacolod is committed to train world-class chefs, industry professionals, and creative entrepreneurs in culinary arts through:

  • A study of the fundamentals of classic and contemporary cuisine with the integration of Philippine flavours and approaches;
  • Hands-on training in fundamental techniques of the culinary arts using state-of-the-art kitchen facilities;
  • Direct supervision of internationally-trained chef instructors; and
  • Versatile exposure to a variety of workplaces; world-class hotels, professional settings, resorts, restaurants, catering businesses and bakeshop management.

Classes will start on July 14, 2025


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS & PROCESS:

Step 1 
Submit the following admission requirements: 
  • Report Card for Recent Senior High School Graduates (original & photocopy) 
  • Transcript of Records — Professionals & College Level Students (original & photocopy) 
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character (from last school attended) 
  • 1 pc. Recent 2 x 2 ID Picture 
  • PSA Certificate of Live Birth or Marriage Contract (original & photocopy) 
 
Step 2
  • Submit all requirements to ICA Administrative Office.
  • Fill up online registration: aims.usls.edu.ph/lasalle.
  • Undergo the admission interview with the ICA Director or designated officer.
  • Secure admission card from ICA office.
  • Proceed to Business Office for payment.
 
Step 3 - Go to Guidance Office to secure payment slip 
  • Payment for Admission Fee (c/o Guidance & Evaluation Center) — P 300.00
  • Take the Psychological Test (c/o Guidance & Evaluation Center) — P 300.00
 
Step 4 
  • Submit laboratory results to the University Clinic (1 month before the opening of class)
  • Laboratory Results for the following: 
  • Drug Test
  • Hepa A, Hepa B Results (HBsAG, ANTI-HAV lgm) 
  • Chest X-ray 
  • CBC, Urinalysis, Stool 
  • 1 pc. Recent 2 x 2 ID Picture
  • Submit Medical Certificate to ICA Administrative Office before the first day of class.
