Everyone's favorite "woke" Tito, Atty. Jose Manuel "Chel" Icasiano Diokno, a Human Rights Laywer and the Founding Dean of the College of Law in De La Salle University – Manila, was yesterday's keynote speaker in the Jose W. Diokno Lecture Series V2.0. Sharing words about his father, the late Filipino nationalist Senator and the Founding Chair of Commission on Human Rights, Jose "Pepe" Diokno, engaging the topic of today's politics, as well as inspiring the youth with the potential and power that they hold for the country's future. Students from the College of Arts and Sciences filled the auditorium that afternoon, Political Science students and Communication students alike.

The Lecture Series was presented by the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Political and Social Sciences and The Office for Mission and Development.
