Every thriving school community has a strong support system and at the USLS Integrated School, that foundation is built by INSPA, the USLS Integrated School Parents Association.
At the heart of INSPA’s mission is the well-being of every student, fostering a nurturing academic environment. They aim to ensure that students feel supported, empowered, and cared for beyond academics. Through initiatives like the Uniform Fund Drive, INSPA ensures that no child feels left behind. INSPA’s commitment goes further with plans to introduce a Basic Life Support Course, equipping students with essential life-saving skills. Mental health and online safety talks emphasize emotional resilience in today’s digital world.
One of their most heartfelt projects is the “Thank You, Manong & Manang” initiative, where INSPA provides essentials like toiletries to security guards, janitors, and maintenance staff who work tirelessly to keep the school running smoothly.
Since its establishment in 1999, INSPA has served as the bridge between parents and the school administration, creating a collaborative environment where families play an active role in shaping their children’s education. However, INSPA is more than just an organization; It is a family filled with passionate individuals dedicated to making a difference.

INSPA is deeply involved in organizing events that enhance student life, strengthen family bonds, and support school initiatives. One of the biggest highlights of the year is the Family Weekend, an event filled with energetic dance performances, cook-offs, interactive activity booths, and even magic shows.
Rhea Lombos Serondo, Chairwoman of INSPA, believes that being a part of the association iis a personal mission. As a child, she wished her mother was more involved in school activities, as she believes that when parents and teachers work hand in hand, children perform better in school.
Aside from organizing events and supporting school projects, INSPA also plays a key role in communication. INSPA officers ensure that parents are informed immediately of significant events and announcements. They also relay concerns from parents to the administration, helping to bridge the gap between families and the school.
For Paolo Severino, his love for La Salle runs deep. Having spent 16 years at USLS, he considers the school his second home. “Instead of just complaining about issues, I decided to help from the inside,” he shares. His loyalty to La Salle is about ensuring his four children receive the same strong foundation he did.
Looking ahead, INSPA has big plans. They hope to bring back the blood drives, introduce a Basic Life Support (BLS) Course for students, and continue hosting mental health and social media safety talks in partnership with the Guidance Office.
INSPA’s belief is simple yet powerful: Education is not just about academics, it’s about building a strong, supportive community.
“We’re not just signing tuition checks; we’re taking an active role in our children’s education and experiences,” Paolo emphasizes.
Rhea adds, “When you become part of something bigger, you naturally want to contribute. It becomes a passion.”
Passion isn’t just about what you love, it’s about what you’re willing to dedicate yourself to, even without recognition or reward. And for the parents behind INSPA, that passion is making a difference in the lives of students, families, and the entire La Salle community.
