The University of St. La Salle continues its development at the USLS Granada Campus with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Granada Chapel, scheduled for this Friday, April 25.
The chapel, generously gifted by Mrs. Soledad “Gretchen” Oppen-Cojuangco, will provide a dedicated space for prayer, reflection, and inspiration for the Lasallian community.
This new addition to the extension campus is meaningful for the University, as it strengthens its commitment to nurturing a deeper connection to Lasallian spirituality and values.
The event is expected to be attended by University administrators, led by USLS President Br. Joaquin Severino Martinez FSC, the USLS Board of Trustees, the De La Salle Brothers Community of Bacolod, and other esteemed guests. Benefactors Mrs. Gretchen Oppen-Cojuangco, Mrs. Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas and Mrs. Sonia Sarrosa will also grace the event.
Following the ceremonial rites, Ms. Claudia Diaz Cojuangco, granddaughter of Mrs. Gretchen Oppen-Cojuangco, will deliver a response on behalf of the family.
The Granada Campus, an ongoing project of USLS, is a vital extension of the University’s mission to provide quality Christian education in Bacolod City and beyond.
