USLS inks internship, faculty exchange program MOA with Soegijapranata Catholic University

Marking a significant effort in promoting global cooperation, the University of St. La Salle’s College of Education and Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU) signed a landmark Memorandum of Agreement last February 13 in Indonesia for an international internship and faculty exchange program.

This partnership between the institutions aimed towards globalizing education, fostering cross-cultural learning experiences, and outlining initiatives to maximize educational contributions to the global community for both faculty and students.

Representing the USLS College of Education in the MOA signing were June Carl Seran and Sarah Therese Jardenil, while SCU was represented by Dr. GM. Adhyanggono, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Arts and Head of International Affairs and Cooperation Office, and Dr. Angelika Riyandari.

Meanwhile, USLS faculty members Seran and Jarenil were invited also to serve as visiting lecturers at SCU and
delivered lectures on Adaptive Design for Learning and Inclusive Education in Higher Education.

Both guest lecturers were selected for their extensive experience and pioneering work in promoting technology in teaching and learning and inclusive education practices.

Their lectures aimed to provide valuable insights and practical strategies to faculty members, administrators, and students at SCU.

Soegijapranata Catholic University, located in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, is a private institution affiliated with Christian-Catholic values, offering a selective range of degrees to students, including international applicants, along with diverse facilities and services.
