The College of Tourism and Hospitality is a specialized institution designed to meet the evolving demands of the rapidly growing travel and tourism sector. With the tourism industry projected to create approximately 126 million new jobs over the next decade (WTTC, 2022), the college offers a curriculum that combines both theoretical knowledge and practical training, preparing students for success in this dynamic field. The college's creation builds on years of groundwork, beginning with enhanced curriculum guidelines for Bachelor of Science programs in Tourism Management and Hospitality Management in 2017, and reinforced by PAASCU's recommendation during the 2019 accreditation visit. Despite challenges like the pandemic, the college has maintained strong enrollment, demonstrating sustained demand for its programs and enhancing the institution's academic and financial resilience. The establishment of the College of Tourism and Hospitality is not just an administrative change; it optimizes efficiency and unlocks growth potential, positioning the college for recognition as a regional leader and setting the stage for future recognition as Centers of Development (COD) and Centers of Excellence (COE).

Hospitality Management
The BSHM program aims to produce graduates who are equip with competencies needed to execute both operational tasks and management functions in food production (culinary), accommodation, food and beverage service, product development and other emerging sectors of the hospitality industry. It further aims to produce efficient, self reliant, competent and socially responsible professionals who will meet the demands of globally competitive hospitality industry.
