Baked with Love: Alexia Soron’s Recipe for Passion and Purpose

Meet Alexia Beatrice Soron of Accountancy and Business Management 12A, a whirlwind of energy and compassion wrapped up in an apron and armed with a rolling pin. At just 18 years old, Alexia is not your average university student—she's a baking virtuoso with a cause.

It all started during the dark days of the pandemic when life threw the Soron family a curveball. Battling COVID-19 together, they found strength in each other's love and resilience. But amidst the chaos, there was a tiny miracle waiting to be discovered—Bebito, Alexia's baby brother, born into a world of uncertainty and challenges.

The story of Beto's Bites is one of resilience, love, passion, and unwavering dedication. It all began during the darkest days of the pandemic when the Soron family faced their own battle with COVID-19. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, a ray of light emerged in the form of Alexia's little brother, affectionately known as Bebito.

Fueled by her passion for baking and inspired by her little brother's battle with cerebral palsy, Lexi launched Beto's Bites—a pastry shop named after her brother, Bebito, using her entrepreneurial knowledge from ABM.

With unwavering dedication, Alexia pours her heart and soul into her business, knowing that every cookie sold brings her one step closer to helping her brother receive the therapy he needs. Despite the challenges she faces as a student entrepreneur, she remains steadfast in her mission, driven by love and a desire to make a difference.

Every cookie sold by Beto's Bites isn't just a tasty treat—it's a tiny miracle in its own right. With each sale, Alexia gets one step closer to helping her brother receive the therapy he needs to thrive. It's a labor of love that goes beyond the confines of a kitchen—it's a testament to the power of family, resilience, and the human spirit.

But Alexia's mission doesn't stop there. Through her delicious pastries, she's on a quest to raise awareness about disabilities, to challenge stereotypes, and to spread a message of acceptance and inclusion. With every batch of cookies she bakes, she's breaking down barriers and building bridges of understanding and compassion.

As she juggles the demands of university life and the responsibilities of running her business, Alexia remains undeterred in her mission. Her message to her fellow youth is simple but profound: follow your heart, pursue your passions, and never underestimate the power of kindness and compassion to change the world.

As Alexia continues her journey, she leaves behind a trail of sweetness and hope—a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love, kindness, and compassion can prevail. Through her dedication and determination, she proves that miracles can indeed be baked with love—and that sometimes, the sweetest treats are the ones that come from the heart.
