Two USLS research studies published in journals

The Publication and Engagement Office (PEO) announced that researches from the University of St. La Salle have been successfully published in prestigious research publications and journals.

Dr. Calvin Dave D. Ganub's research, titled "Self-Efficacy and Supervision Practices Among Guidance Directors," explored self-efficacy and supervision methods in Philippine higher education institutions.

His findings, published in the Multicultural Education Journal, reveal that guidance counselors agree that they are indeed fulfilling all of their supervisory duties, regardless of age, sexual orientation, duration of service, academic rank, or most significant level of education.

In another study, Dr. Loreto B. Damasco Jr., along with Noel Raymund Lacson and Roger Intong, investigated information security measures in Point-of-Sale systems.

Published in the Eximia Journal - Journal of Multidisciplicary Research, their research, titled "Safeguarding Transactional Data: A Comprehensive Investigation of VPN Integration in Point-of-Sale Systems for Enhanced Security and Connectivity," studied the importance of safeguarding transactional data.

This study investigated the implementation of a VPN server to address security and connectivity challenges faced by the University of St. La Salle (USLS) Bookstore.

The University commends the researchers for their impactful contributions, as their work underscores the critical role of scholarly papers in advancing knowledge and addressing contemporary challenges.
