USLS College of Nursing hosts PNAA lecture series

The University's College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA), conducted a successful Balik-Turo Lecture Series on January 29, drawing participation from the entire spectrum of the nursing community.

The lecture series featured presentations on varied topics, such as the role of nurses in health promotion and diseases, stroke updates, leveraging technology to improve nursing, and burnout and compassion fatigue.

Among the featured alumni and PNAA speakers were Gloria Lamela Beriones, Mary Joy Garcia Dia, Leticia Hemosa, Mate Chase, Janet Mary Rodriguez-Cuaycong, Rolando Gatilao, and Maria Eden Aguilar Gianan.

Attended by USLS Nursing Faculty, College of Nursing levels 1-4 students, and guests from other Nursing schools, the lecture series provided a platform for alumni to share expertise gained from workplace experiences and research.

The success of the Balik-Turo Lecture Series highlights the significance of engaging alumni in educational activities, fostering a collaborative environment that enriches the academic experience for both current and future nursing professionals.
