USLS GAD conducts art, wellness workshop for women administrators
Around twenty women University administrators participated in an art and wellness workshop at the Museo De La Salle Bacolod on Oct. 26.
The workshop was led by Negrense artist and blogger Tey Ihvonie Maravilla Sevilleno.
The women administrators were introduced to gouache painting, a painting technique in which a gum or an opaque white pigment is added to watercolors to produce opacity, and had a painting session after the tutorial.
The workshop aimed to let participants discover the therapeutic effects of art and bring them into community with one another through art expression.
The art and wellness workshop was spearheaded by the USLS Gender and Development Focal Point System and in collaboration with the Human Resource and Development Service.
