USLS Law to offer Master of Legal Studies - Juris Doctor in AY 2024-25

The University of St. La Salle - College of Law is set to offer the Master of Legal Studies - Juris Doctor (MLS-JD) starting academic year 2024-2025.

Recognized by the Legal Education Board (LEB), the program stands out as a ladderized, non-thesis, dual degree offering.

The MLS-JD program enables students to obtain a Master of Legal Studies degree upon completing fifty (50) units of academic credits within the JD curriculum.

This includes 42 units of mandatory courses and 8 units of electives.

Students can opt for either the full 144-unit Juris Doctor Non-Thesis program or pursue the MLS degree after fulfilling the 50-unit requirement. Completion of the JD program grants students an MLS-JD dual degree, qualifying them for the Bar examinations and expanding their career prospects in the legal field.

Prospective legal practitioners are invited to explore this innovative educational opportunity at the USLS College of Law.
