Four Business Administration students from the Yu An Log College of Business and Accountancy (YAL-CBA) are to begin a five-month international study at the University of Tsukuba starting September 17 under the Japan Fall 2025 CHED AIMS Program.
The USLS participants will be pursuing studies in International Business, a program designed to enrich their academic experience while deepening their cultural perspectives.
Joining the exchange are third-year students Laura Mae Confesor (Marketing Management), John Ropert Relota (Operations Management), Lorenzo Tadeo Dadivas (Business Economics), and Christine Del Melgar (double major in Marketing and Operations Management).
The CHED AIMS Exchange Program, initiated by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre (SEAMEO RIHED), promotes student mobility across Asia and provides opportunities for academic exchange, intercultural growth, and professional development.
Through this program, the students embody USLS’s commitment to internationalization and academic mobility, preparing to become globally competitive leaders while carrying the Animo spirit abroad.
Ahead of their departure, the students underwent psychological processing facilitated by College Counselor Dr. Cinderella Francisco of the Guidance and Evaluation Center.
They also joined a Pre-departure Orientation led by CHED AIMS Fall 2024 alumna Crisha Verde and Mr. June Carl Seran, OIC Director of the Center for Linkages and International Affairs (CLIA), who shared insights on cultural immersion, academic expectations, and life as exchange students.
