USLS achieves perfect 100% passing rate as all 19 takers ace CPA board exam

The University of St. La Salle showed an exceptional performance in the May 2023 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants, achieving an outstanding 100 percent overall passing rate. 

This remarkable feat was accomplished through the combined success of 13 first-time takers and 6 repeaters who successfully passed the exam, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed.

The 19 new Lasallian CPAs are: Robert John Bacusa, Camille Marie Briones, Pearlene Joy Calibo, Christine May Camaymayan, Jorge Louis Detoyato, Jose Mario Sergio Diaz, Renerey Doruelo, Maita Cielo Flores, Angelica Louise Gomes, Honey Claire Madrigal;

Lois Anna Keziah Jose, Nap Brando Mahinay, Arnie Lyn Maratas, Maria Lyn Nanagad, Vanessa Olac, Evna Trisha Reboton, Khris Aira Sales, Edreah Nicole Sinining, and Paulhynn Tupas.

By obtaining a perfect overall passing rate this year, USLS is the best performing accountancy school in Bacolod City and the Province of Negros Occidental.

In the previous CPALE last October 2022, USLS also got 19 passers with Kate Marie Buencochillo landing as second placer of the said exam.

As USLS continues to show a consistent performance in the CPA board exam, the University affirms its position as one of the leading accountancy schools in the Philippines, showcasing dedication to excellence in accounting education. 

This achievement is a testament to the USLS mission of providing better futures for its students.
